Biggitty!!! How is the offseason treat'n you? How many times have you used your are you passport? ha ha. Seriously, what are you doing to improve your quickness on the field?
Hank Baskett: The off-season has been great BIZQUIT!!!! Iwish I had gotten that passport in advance so I could've busted it out this off-season. So instead I'm just relaxed around the hometown and had some fun with the family. I did venture down to Austin for a weekend and that was a little fun!! I can't wait until you make it up to Philly!
jason aune, belle plaine, MN
hey hank wats up man you dont know me but i am good freinds with ben B. you guys when to high school together. Antways congrats on makin it to the nfl man hell of a job!! good luck
Hank Baskett: Thanks a bunch man! You are hanging around a great guy. We did more than just go to high school together, he lived right down the street from me since we were in elementary. We have played more football games together whether it be in the street or on a field than anyone I know. We still keep in touch. Tell him i said what's up the next time you talk to him and ask him about our sixth grade championship football game!! Our classes played each other. Let me know what his reaction is!!!

Hank, I graduated from UNM Anderson School of Management with a General Management concentration in 2003. It is nice to see a fellow alumnus in the NFL. I am a avid birds fan and was elated to see them trade for you. During your great senior season at UNM I kept telling my friends that you would be a great fit in Philadelphia, now I seem like a psychic. I know next season with or without Stallworth you will shine, keep working hard and the Birds will extend you as they do with many of their upcoming young talent. I had an opportunity to meet Dontrelle Moore at the Weck's off Coors and Montano, I was wondering if you two keep in touch? I was happy to hear he signed a 2 year deal with the Titans today, best of luck to you. I hope to meet you one of these days and hopefully have you sign my authentic #84.
Hank Baskett: thanks for stopping in and checking things out. i enjoyed my time at unm and in Anderson. believe it or not i've actually used what i learned in the business school quite often so far in my career so far!!! we will see how the season goes, but i can assure you of this, any opportunity given i will make the most of it because opportunity doesn't show its face often. i actually do keep up with dontrelle. we talk quite often. as you were, i too was excited to hear of his contract. we go back plenty before college. we played many times against each other growing up and have become very good friends throughout the years. next time i'm in albuquerque i'd be more than happy to sign your jersey. i appreciate you for representing myself and the eagle's and congrats on your degree!!
Buffy Brandon, clovis , nm
Hank do you like playing for the nfl.Does it get hard for you.
Hank Baskett: i have greatly enjoyed playing so far. i plan on doing it as long as i can. it truly is a dream of mine and it's a blessing to be able to take care of myself as well as my family by doing something i have always loved. as in life, times do get hard. but all you can do is keep on truckin. you can't let hard times scare you away from what you want to accomplish. otherwise you would never achieve the success that you truly want because in order to reach that level, you're going to have to overcome some adversity. and i believe adversity only makes you stronger. i hope that my words come to you the next time you experience some adversity!
Charles Dorner, South Philly, PA
Hey Hank. Just wanted to know I'm a big fan and I loved how you tore up D. Hall for like 170 yards. Haha you nice I hope your starting by September you and DMac had chemistry.
Hank Baskett: i appreciate what you said about d. hall. he is a great player and i believe the only way to get better is by playing the best. i am so fortunate of the guys we have on our defense because i truly believe they are some of the best there are!!! and getting to practice against them day in and day out has vastly improved my performance throughout the season. september is still a ways away. there is a lot of hard work to be done between now and then. i still have many areas of my game that i have to improve on so that is why i am so anxious to be back in philly working out. next season starts now and i believe it's gonna be a good one!!!
neil ahmed, philadelphia, pa
hey hank, im a very big fan of yours. obviously you guys didnt win the superbowl, but i think the team as a whole learned a lot about them selves and i was wondering what did you take out the most from the season, because in my mind it was a huge success
Hank Baskett: Thank you for all of your support. The thing that I enjoyed most about the season was how our team came together in a time to make a run at the Super Bowl.

mario S, las vegas, nm
who do u think was a better QB Mcnabb or Garcia
Hank Baskett: I think both quarterbacks are great competitors and that they both are incredible athletes. It was sad to see Donovan get hurt, but Jeff did a great job for the team in his absence. It is great catching balls and running patters for both players and I just look forward to working hard and doing my part to contribute to the success of the Eagles.
David Lansford, Clovis, NM
Hank, Are you contracted with the Eagles to play for them next season? David
Hank Baskett: Yes, have 2 more years on my contract with the Eagles and cannot wait until pre-season!
Jennifer Birmingham, Vineland, NJ
Hi Hank, great job with the Eagles this year!!!! I just wanted to let you know that you are the sweetest person anyone could come by. I met you on 1/2/07 at the Turnersville Forman Mills in New Jersey. You were my 16-month-old daughters first autograph. By the way you are also handsome. She was wanting to come up to you and just sit on your lap and of course I got a lil bit embarrassed or actually shy. Well needless to say your manager and other people throughout the whole store was taking pictures of you signing her Jersey and I was just wondering if you had a copy of it if so could you please email it to me so I can put it on my computer. She also would really like to meet you in person again as well as myself. I would also like to let you know that I have a great amount of respect for you because when you signed her jersey you were very respectful and didnt just push us along. When I went to the same location 2 days later to get David Akers to sign her jersey he was rushing us along and was a lil bit rude. I thought he was about the fans too but he truly didnt show it especially when I waited 2 and half hours for his autograph. Well hope to hear back from you soon. Keep up the good work Hank see you next year.
Hank Baskett: Hank: Thanks for coming out to see me at Forman Mills and I am glad I was able to sign the first autograph for your 16-month old. So special to be able to share in that moment. I will ask the marketing team if they have that picture and see if they can email it to you. I hope to see you and your daughter again when I am back in Philadelphia so check back at my site to see where I will be appearing in the future. I am glad I could make that autograph such a memorable experience.

Hank Baskett: Hank: It was heartbreaking. It was a great season and I am honored that I was able to contribute to the team and to be a part of a great comeback. I am looking forward to training camp already.
mario sena, las vegas nm, nm

Hank Baskett: Thanks for your support. I can't tell you how much support I have received from all my fans.

Congrats on your season with your 2 touchdown catches. I know that you wish the season didn't end yet as we also do. Hope you get more playing time next year. Congrats on your season, although we along with you and all of the Eagles wish it would've been longer. Our family enjoyed following your progress this year, and hope to see you in a larger role next season-so stick around!

Hank Baskett: Thank you to all of my loyal fans back in Clovis for all of their constant love and support. Without all of you the season would not have been able to be so enjoyable.

Hank, You won't know us but our daughter was at CHS with you, she played golf. We no longer live in Clovis but have followed your career. We are proud to see a Clovis player do so well. Hope to actually see you play live one day soon. By the way I am a devoted Dallas Fan....until Philidelphia plays them then I jump the fence....good luck with the play-offs!!!!
Hank Baskett: Good to hear from you. Thank you for following me since I left Clovis. It is good to hear that you turn into Philadelphia fans when our game begins.
Robert L, Fort Worth, TX
Probably don't remember us, but we arrived at Cannon AFB in August, 1980. Met your mom and dad and the bowling alley where we all spent a lot of time. You came along and we remember you in your carrier at the alley and watched you grow up until we departed Clovis in 1995. We watched you and UNM and learned through Joe Thomas via Richard John that you were on the Eagles team. I can't tell you how proud we are of you and your accomplishments. Our regular teams to cheer for are Denver and Carolina, but we are quickly becoming Eagles fans too. We watch every game and play. I know Judy and Hank are so proud. Please relay our best wishes. 817-370-0011 Home. Beat the Giants!!!
Hank Baskett: Wow it is great to hear from you. I am lucky to have fans such as you that give me the constant support that allows me perform. This season was very memorable for me but we ended up falling a little short. I am sure that next year will be much better. Keep in touch
Duane C, Clovis, NM

Joanne C, Hellertown, PA
A Big Thank to Hank for drawing Dawn and I to be the winners to come to the Eagles game.
Hank Baskett: So happy you were able to make the game and it was so special! It amazing meeting such great fans and wonderful people like you.
Joanne & Dawn C, Hellertown, PA
Just wanted to let you know that Dawn had a blast at the EAGLES game last night. We were treated very well by the staff at the game. We were given different seats in the chrysler club section C4 row 5W seats 16 & 17. So when Dawn got cold we could go inside and let her warm-up. She now wants to come back to see another game. She now has to have one of your jerseys but I am having problems finding one in a kids size L (14-16). Hopefully I can find one for christmas. Thank you again for picking Dawns ticket so she could see the game.
Hank Baskett: Joanne, Thank you for your interest and kind words. I am so glad that you and Dawn could make the game that everyone was so accommodating. It brings a lot of joy to me when true fans like you can make it to the games and it is even more special that Dawn was able to see a great game with a such a fun outcome. In regards to the jersey check out my site at IPlayedTheGame.com ( hankbaskett.iplayedthegame.com) and see what may be in stock for jerseys, etc. Glad you enjoyed the game and that you were the winner of the drawing. Hank
Gilbert M, Albuquerque, NM
What was the feeling after you caught your first NFL touchdown. What an awesome catch!
Hank Baskett: Thanks for the question. What a feeling it was of elation. I remember the ball coming my way like a rocket from Donovan. I looked back and caught it full stride and remember that feeling like in New Mexico when I new I was endzone bound. Loved every second of it.
Fred A, Quakertown, PA
What was the highest that you ever were able to high jump?
Hank Baskett: I set the New Mexico State record by high jumping 7 feet.
