2005 SENIOR season Baskett established himself as one of the nation's top receivers with a sensational senior year. Baskett was named first team all-Mountain West Conference by the league's media and coaches. He was ranked 13th nationally and third among MWC receivers. He went over 100 yards 5 times gaining a total of 1,071 yards. Baskett was ranked in the top 50 of catches per game. His highlight was at Missouri in week two when his performance of 10 receptions for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns earned him MWC Offensive Player of the Week and a spot on CollegeFootball New.com national "Who's Hot" list.

2004 JUNIOR season Hank, earned honorable mention all-MWC and voted Offensive MVP by his teammates at New Mexico. He led the team with 54 receptions, with is the most by a Lobo player in 5 years and caught at least 2 balls in every game during the year for a total of 908 receiving yards. He entailed four catches for over 50 yards and four 100 yard games. Also, dealing with a few nagging injuries, Baskett was able to show real toughness having 15 knockdown blocks through the year.

2003 SOPHOMORE season, Baskett emerged as a dependable member of the WR corps in his first full season. He finished 3rd on the team with 17 catches for 288 yards in 13 games. He tied for second on the Lobo's with 3 TD's and had a season long catch of 42 yards. Baskett also had 3 tackles and blocked a punt on special teams as well. He also served as the Lobo's backup punter.

2002 REDSHIRT FRESHMAN YEAR, Baskett had to sit idle for nearly 2 months after suffering a spinal concussion during practice on August 14 and was finally cleared for contact on October 6. He was than able to make his collegiate debut at Utah State on October 19. He made great strides throughout the year, seeing significant amounts of time late in the season on special teams, where he had three tackles. Both of Baskett's first two college catches went for touchdowns.

HIGH SCHOOL Baskett, a 2001 graduate of Clovis High School in New Mexico, was an extremely versatile and bright student-athlete who competed in football, basketball, and track, and also had a 4.0 GPA. Hank played six games at QB and 4 at WR for Coach Roanhaus. He was a second team all-state punter and receiver as a senior. He punted all three years and was considered one of the nation's top schoolboy high jumpers with a state-record lead of 7 feet at the 2000 state track meet in Albuquerque. Baskett also won the title as a senior at 6-11 and jumped 7-00.25 at a meet in May. During the basketball season he averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds a game for the Wildcats. Baskett earned second team all-state honors on the court as a junior and also the Wildcats athlete of the year.

PERSONAL Born September 4, 1982 in Clovis to the full name of Henry Randall Baskett III. He was the son of Henry Jr. and Judy. His father spent 30 years in the United States Air Force.  He know is the director of a four-county program for abused children called the OASIS Children's Advocacy Center and also serves as part time Sociology professor at Clovis Community College. His mother has worked to become a Chief Financial Officer in her 35th year at Canon Air Force Base located in Clovis, New Mexico.  His older brother Randy Curtis served in the Army and now is working as a defense contractor in Washington D.C. While at New Mexico he majored in General Management. Baskett enjoys to golf in his spare time and gives time to his charity the Oasis Children Advocacy Center.
